VCF Mestalla remain unbeaten in PLIC with emphatic away win over Leicester City U21 (0-2)
Valencia CF Mestalla took on Leicester City U21 on Matchday 2 in group A of the Premier League International Cup at Leicester City ground in Seagrave, Leicestershire. The game finished in a 0-2 win for VCF Mestalla with Pablo Gozálbez and Diego López on target.

Pablo Gozálbez broke the deadlock before the break after capitalising on an opposition clearance following a Rodrigo Rodriges effort.
Valencia CF Mestalla edged Leicester City U21 at the break. Leicester City U 21 came out in the second half, but Charly thwarted Alves' solo move.

Diego López doubled VCF Mestalla’s lead halfway through the second half after getting on the end of a fine Joseda delivery from the right hand side, and despite going down to ten men after Alberto Marí.
However VCF Mestalla managed to keep a clean sheet to pick up their opening win in the competition and achieve a shutout following their goalless draw with Fulham U21.

VCF remain unbeaten and remain as joint leaders with two Matchdays left to play in the Premier League International Cup.
